With over twenty years of teaching experience, my students have gone on to have successful careers as performers, college professors and band directors. Former students have gone on to perform with groups such as the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Rochester Philharmonic and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. Students have gone on to study at outstanding institutions including the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, The Eastman School of Music, The Cleveland Institute, The New England Conservatory, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon University, Louisiana State University, Appalachian State University, Western Carolina, and The University of Alabama.
